MARECSA has more than ten years of experience in the operation of F.P.S.O. vessels, actually they operate in the area of the Gulf of Mexico, the vessels are: “Bourbon Opale” y “ECO III”.

F.P.S.O. “ECO IV”

Our company was awarded with a new contract in 2009 by means of the international public bid 18575107-001-09, for the service of well tests to Pemex Exploración y Producción, through the vessel named ECO IV, which is under de process of conversion.

The vessel is similar to the one that actually operates in the Gulf of Mexico, (ECO III), with a storage capacity of 55,000 barrels for liquids, process plant with a production capacity of 15,000 barrels per day, Dynamic Positioning System DP-2 and Helideck.

With the coming into operation of this vessel it is expected to increase the volume of the crude oil recovered from well tests done by PEP and in such way this will contribute the reduction of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.

This vessel also integrates WTSV technology, at the same time that engineering and supervision of the conversion is developed by Mexican Engineers.
