QUALITY, SAFETY, WORK HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT

With the object to guarantee safety in vessels that operate and their crew members, Marítima de Ecología has implemented a management system governed by the International Code of Safety Managment of the OMI. ISM (International Safety Management)

A second objective of the system is to avoid damages to the environment, specifically the marine environment. This has allowed Marecsa to opertae our process plants safely complying with all our goals for environment protection.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Gerencia de Logística of Pemex Exploración y Producción has granted Marecsa the Recognition of Zero Accidents and Reliable Provider, derived from the performance of the services with Safety, Work Health and Environmental Protection.

Marecsa has the vission to protect the environment for the use and enjoyment of future generations as well as to take actions that allow to restoring areas that in the past were damaged by the indiscriminate use of the natural resources. In the short term it will be requested to the Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) the certification of clean industry, seeking the public recognition to the national and international norm accomplishment in environmental issues, also the good operation practices and engineering that guarantee a high level of performance and environmental protection.

CERTIFICAtion ISO9001-2008

Since year 2010, Lloyds Register Quality Assurance certifies that Maritima de Ecologia has a quality management system based in the norm ISO9001-2008, assuring that all the process of services offered byMARECSA comply with the highest quality standards in the national and international scope.
